Tigers and temples.
Tiger Kingdom and Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Author’s note: I don’t like deleting the past, so I leave this here. But I no longer agree with petting tigers or riding elephants as tourism. I do not condone visiting the tiger parks in Thailand.
On my last day in Chiang Mai, Jenny and I took a ride out to Tiger Kingdom. It’s a little zoo of tigers that you can get up close and personal with. And by that I mean you pay a lot of money to get your picture taken with a lot of big cats who may or may not be drugged.
But they were cute…?
On the way back to town we stopped at Doi Suthep, a temple at the top of a hill (it’s on the opposite side of the mountains from Huay Tung Tao Lake). It was…a temple. On top of a hill…
