Thank you to all my amazing fans!
I’m still recovering from my totally awesome last place finish at the Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July hot dog eating contest. So, check back later for a full contest recap. But I just wanted to check in and say a big gigantic THANK YOU to everyone for your support.
Seriously. I know some of the most amazing people who are always encouraging me to follow my dreams, no matter how weird they are. Thank you. Thank you everyone!
I HAVE THE MOST AMAZING FANS EVER!
Heather and Jeremy came to Coney Island to watch me eat!
Rob and Sheilah watched from the splash zone!
My nephews cheered me on at home!
My friends were supporting me from all over…
and were super sad when the feed cut out!
And someone made me a sign!?!?! I have no idea who this guy is! Who is he???

July 9, 2014at11:52 amAnd then there were people like me who couldn’t watch, but cheered you on from 4000 miles away and checked twitter during that night’s World Cup game to find out how many hot dogs you ate. I’m sooo happy for you that you accomplished one of your dreams, even if you came in last place. That part doesn’t really matter. You wanted to do this, you found a way to do it, and you had fun. Mission accomplished. I’m proud of you.
I can only hope the random guy in the crowd is just a blog reader who was there to cheer you on. Maybe he’ll see this post and identify himself?
