1. I realized that we’ve been hanging out for a year now. And haven’t fought or cried. I think that is a record for us getting along by about 11 and a half months.

2. FYI, a giant road sign that says “Driving distracted is both unsafe and irresponsible” is kind of distracting.

3. Note to self: do not store carrots and crackers in the same container. It will end badly.

4. This morning was one of those mornings that made me think that I shouldn’t get out of bed. First I broke my favorite jeans. Then my CTA pass was expired by five minutes and I had left my new one on my desk at work.

5. I am supposed to be in Texas right now but that didn’t happen. After canceling all my vacations for the year I have ended up with a bunch of vacation days but am not feeling like going anywhere. What’s wrong with me?

6. Last night I met up with Nadia at Stir Crazy. Which was awesome because I haven’t seen her in forever and a day. Or my birthday. It was delicious food and great to catch up. And there was stir fry.

Question: at a make your own stir fry place how is it that I always end up with a bowl of vegetables I don’t like at the end of the meal?

7. Do you ever feel like you’re just constantly taking classes to become nothing?

8. Leftover dough, chicken, cheese, pineapple, and pasta sauce makes for epic pizza win.

9. In the database system at work that has all of our constituents in it, there is a research note on my account that says “this lady is crazy.”

10. Tonight was the two hour Idol Gives Back episode of American Idol. Which meant I started watching it an hour late and fast forwarded through it so that I was caught up within 45 minutes…of course then it went OVER by anout 20 or so minutes so I then had to sit through a bunch of crap and couldn’t fast forward 🙁 Here are our standings:
