Girls just want to have fun! 100 things to do in 2007. My 2007 resolutions.

January: Girls Just Want to Have Fun

It’s a month in and I’ve done pathetically little on my list of 100 things to do this year. It’s OK though because most of the stuff will probably happen over the summer and I’m sure I can have some weekends where I knock off about 5 things 🙂 The only thing totally checked off so far is number 44, thanks to Josh who brought me flowers for my birthday! I still will gladly accept flowers from any boy who wants to give them to me though 🙂

Hi, I'm Val. I spent most of my 20s in a standstill, unable to pick which path in life I wanted to take. I wanted the nomadic life of a traveler but also wanted the husband, the condo, and the kitten. Unable to decide which life I wanted more, I did nothing. When I turned 30 I’d had enough of putting my life on hold and decided to start “choosing my figs.” So, I quit my job, bought a one-way ticket to Europe, and traveled for three years. Now I'm back in Chicago, decorating my apartment in all the teal, petting my cats, and planning my next adventure.
