If you like pina coladas…Koh Phi Phi Island
Relaxing on Koh Phi Phi Island in Thailand.
I’ve been living on pina coladas. It seems like the appropriate thing to do when you’re on an island. A pineapple shake to start the day followed by a couple of coconut concoctions throughout the day is enough to sustain anyone on a beach.
Steven and I took a ferry from Phuket to Koh Phi Phi island where we spent three days wandering beaches and drinking.
The first night we wandered about, got some black pepper crab, got lost on the beach, and watched the rain pour over the hills from our bungalow porch.
And the next day we again wandered, watched monkeys play in our front yard, found the beach, ate dinner at a huge restaurant full of no one with a live songstress.
And I spent an afternoon lying alone on an almost deserted beach, watching the sky turn to pink, having a good and much needed cry.
And the next morning was spent watching the most adorably lazy cats in the world.
And, of course, on my last night there I ended with just one more pina colada and just one more plate of stir fried goodness.
