I was promised a pink city.

The Pink City of Jaipur, India.

The old city of Jaipur is dubbed the pink city. But, as Jaime and I walked around on our first day there we noticed something a little off. The city wasn’t pink. It was orange. Salmon at best. But certainly not pink.

If you know me it all, you know I love me some pink, so I was very much looking forward to seeing what I thought would be a town draped in my favorite color. So, I was pretty disappointed with what I actually was presented with. But whatevs.

Over the next few days we, uncharacteristically, managed to see just about everything Jaipur had to offer. Which was a lot. Especially considering we usually pretty lazy.
