Chicago Hot Dog Pizza from Ian's Pizza in Wrigleyville

I still ate bacon three times this week.

1. Why do I always look like crap when I see the cutest guy ever? Answer: because I almost always look like crap.

2. Did I ever mention how much I love guys with curly hair? Love it.

3. Last night I had Ian’s Chicago hot dog pizza. It was pretty tasty and I didn’t even douse in ketchup!

6. THERE’S GOING TO BE A RIBS EATING CONTEST IN CHICAGO THIS SUMMER!!!!!!!

7. The season finale of House is being shot with a Canon 5D MKII. Which is the same camera I have. And that is crazy.

8. American Idol sent two people home this week after sending no one home last week. Here’s where we stand…

Hi, I'm Val. I spent most of my 20s in a standstill, unable to pick which path in life I wanted to take. I wanted the nomadic life of a traveler but also wanted the husband, the condo, and the kitten. Unable to decide which life I wanted more, I did nothing. When I turned 30 I’d had enough of putting my life on hold and decided to start “choosing my figs.” So, I quit my job, bought a one-way ticket to Europe, and traveled for three years. Now I'm back in Chicago, decorating my apartment in all the teal, petting my cats, and planning my next adventure.
