Fruit salad.

Draw 7 cards, play them all.

After grabbing pizza at Papa Del’s and spending the afternoon at the KCSA reunion party I headed back to Sarah’s place and hung out with her and Sid and Glen and Jen and Andrew and Glen and Jen. Sid and Glen failed at installing a PlayStation or Xbox or something while Sarah made a delicious fruit salad. Then we played a game that had both no rules and the weirdest rules possible and was either about zombies or not. I still don’t understand it. Andrew won but I am not certain of how.

Hi, I'm Val. I spent most of my 20s in a standstill, unable to pick which path in life I wanted to take. I wanted the nomadic life of a traveler but also wanted the husband, the condo, and the kitten. Unable to decide which life I wanted more, I did nothing. When I turned 30 I’d had enough of putting my life on hold and decided to start “choosing my figs.” So, I quit my job, bought a one-way ticket to Europe, and traveled for three years. Now I'm back in Chicago, decorating my apartment in all the teal, petting my cats, and planning my next adventure.

That game would be call Fluxx. It’s named as such because the rules are constantly changing (in a state of flux). It’s fun, but yeah, it can really screw with your head if you’re not paying attention. 😉 There’s a normal version without Zombies, and there’s several more variants beyond this one but they all follow the same general principle.
