Two weeks ago, I had no idea what to do at the Wisconsin State Fair. Or, I guess, any state fair. I'd never been to one before and only had a vague idea of what to expect: farm animals, carnival rides, and a lot of fried foods (on a stick). I can't remember the last time, outside of Nathan's Famous on the Fourth of July, that I saw such a large crowd gather to watch an eating contest. Fire marshals walked the aisles to clear the path of stragglers. Saturday I was picked up bright and early by ChrisS and we headed out on a road trip to Wisconsin. It was time for Easter Saturday in Milwaukee of a Lifetime 2010 A! Over Labor Day weekend Emily and I took a Chicago to Mount Rushmore road trip through Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Iowa. Warning: the following post about my weekend trip to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to take the Miller and the Lakefront Brewery Tours proves that I am a) a lightweight b) kind of pathetic and c) not allowed to drink ever again. I've always been of the mindset that you don't need to drink in order to have fun. And I think I have proven time and again that I personally am really no fun when I drink anyways.
