So I just had the stupidest weekend ever. It was pretty awesome though. Saturday night was our opening night gala. I took photos of the for our Facebook page. So check them all out here! Here is me in my hippie ball gown: And one of me and Eric before I started working. ...

1. Saturday I got up early and went to work. I got there by 9am. The Starbucks was closed. I am sure there were a million open but I didn't want to go to a different one. I got a Dunkin Donuts Latte. I then worked until about 4. The best thing about the day was that at least some friends from ticketing were working so I could go bother them a bit. And Ron brought me a Pez dispenser! From the "biblical story" Kung Fu Panda. My desk is beginning to look like his. 2. Saturday night I came home...

1. I have a love/hate relationship with New Years. I love it because for a moment, to me, it truly feels like everything is fresh and clean and I have a whole new year ahead of me that I haven't fucked up yet. But I hate it because it is this one night with so much pressure and so much meaning jammed into it. And I hate to say this because I absolutely love my friends. But there is kind of a long standing tradition between me and my best high school friends that we always spend New Years together. And...

It's (going to be) a boy! But not until February. I don't know what to do with a boy. Or what kind of cake to design for the baby shower. I was told I have to learn colors other than pink. *** I may have pre-ordered my dream camera...

Recently I've been qualifying many of my adventures with the phrase "this may be the stupidest idea I've ever had." Well, let me tell you, this weekend I indeed had the stupidest plan yet and it's going to be very very hard to top...

1. A guy in line at the bank asked me if I had just gotten back from delivering newspapers. Apparently my purse looks like a newspaper carrier.   2. I hate the Cubs even more. 90210 the New Class was supposed to premier uesday at 7. Because of a Cubs game it was pushed back to 10:30. Because the Cubs game went over time it didn't premiere until after midnight. And my VCR doesn't work so I stayed up till 2 watching the premiere on Tuesday. It wasn't until 1:30 that they started showing a banner that they would rerun it at...

one. I stumbled across this blog post the other day. It's weird to find a random post where someone is basically commending your skills (I created and maintain that myspace page). two. I shot and edited this video. The lighting was way off, so it's kind of dark, but I think it's pretty decent for a first try! And it makes you wanna go see Lulu right???? RIGHT??? ...

Sid sent me an email about something on 08-08-08 and how you should photograph your life on this day. Whatever made him think to send that to ME is completely beyond my imagination...
