OK, so I only went to one intro to yoga class at The Yoga Barn while I was in Ubud, Bali. But that one class counts for my life list goal of "do yoga," right? I mean, I did "do yoga" while in Bali. Technically. And, besides, I never said "do yoga every day" or "become a yoga expert" or "practice yoga religiously." I just said "do it." And I did it. So I did it. The introductory class at The Yoga Barn in Ubud was designed for students, like me, who are new to yoga. nd so they taught us...

I love monkeys. They're my favorite animal. When I was selling my possessions to help fund this trip I had a bin filled with stuffed ones that I had to let go. (I did keep two that I will never get rid of.) But, I have no desire to be around monkeys. Sure, I like looking at them in zoos, when they're behind some sort of lock and key. But in too many places in Asia they are just there. There on the street. There on that car. There in front of that temple. There throwing dirt all over my lunch....

After Sanur, Lisa and I headed to Ubud. When we arrived I said I couldn't commit to more than three days there. She ended up staying for four. I stayed for six. I could have stayed longer. It was the kind of place you could get stuck in for all the wrong reasons. Amazing food, much of which was vegetarian, very little of which was Indonesian. And the desserts. Oh, the desserts! Amazing shopping. I may have come out of there with a whole new wardrobe...
