I'd been in Valencia for a week and, let's face it, I'd done nothing. On Friday we were determined to change all that. The plan was to walk around the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències and then walk around the town center and then go to an Oktoberfest celebration. Which might have been a good plan. Our next two days in Valencia pretty much revolved around shopping and food. We headed to a couple of markets and went all around town trying to find clothes and gear that might withstand getting pummeled by tomatoes (really, our biggest/only reason for meeting up in Valencia was to go to La Tomatina, the world's biggest tomato fight).
