Jen: Which is hotter a guy who can play piano or a guy who can play acoustic guitar?
Me: Definitely guitar.
Matt: You just said that because I play piano.
Me: Yup.

Matt didn’t think I would post my blind wine tasting score from tonight, but I ought to be fair:

It was very hard. I usually have some educated guess but tonight I had no idea. Maybe I really shouldn’t brush my teeth before going to drink 🙂

When I told MK that I was in fact going to post that he gave me his to post too, so to be fair, here is MattyK’s:

After the wine tasting, Scott, Jen and I headed back to MK’s because wine goes straight to my head and I need time to chill before attempting to drive home. Jen tried to teach me salsa because MK won’t and then he was a dork and wouldn’t even dance with me. LOSER. 🙁

Hi, I'm Val. I spent most of my 20s in a standstill, unable to pick which path in life I wanted to take. I wanted the nomadic life of a traveler but also wanted the husband, the condo, and the kitten. Unable to decide which life I wanted more, I did nothing. When I turned 30 I’d had enough of putting my life on hold and decided to start “choosing my figs.” So, I quit my job, bought a one-way ticket to Europe, and traveled for three years. Now I'm back in Chicago, decorating my apartment in all the teal, petting my cats, and planning my next adventure.

    ::Squints:: Is that five circles correct I see? Or six? Everyone has an off night, don’t worry.
    And for the record, the way to get guys to salsa dance with you is not alone in their apartment, but out on the dance floor at a salsa club! No doubt MattyK has “Whiteboyitis” which requires several drinks to overcome before being able to dance in public.
